Grade: Sophomore

This week’s accomplishment: Aguilar led the Serrano girls team to a second place finish in the sweepstakes race at the Inland Empire Challenge, finishing ninth overall with a time of 18 minutes, 35 seconds on October 14. She also led the Diamondbacks at the Mt. SAC Invite with a time of 18:07.

What do you like most about your sport: I love the feeling of being able to run as fast as I can with the adrenaline rushing through me. I love the competition and bond between my team.

How long have you been playing your sport and how did you get started: I have been running for five years. My mom encouraged me to try out. I decided to try out for cross country in sixth grade, and I just loved it.

Pregame ritual: I pray with my teammates and I bounce on my toes to get the adrenaline going.

Most memorable sports moment: Getting my best time of 17:04 at the Woodbridge Invitational.

If you could be someone else for a day, who would it be and why: I would be Christiano Ronaldo so I can have the experience of playing soccer in front of millions of people.

Something most people don’t know about you: I am one of the younger kids in my grade because I was tested into kindergarten a year early.

How would you spend $1 million: I would donate half of it and use the other half to buy a lot of candy for my siblings and I.

Where would you go if you could travel anywhere in the world: I would go to Paris, France.

If you had an extra hour every day, how would you spend it: I would catch up on homework and sleep.

What superpower do you wish you had: A superpower I wish I had is the ability to fly.
