On Wednesday night, May 31st, a winning ticket matching five numbers of the SuperLotto Plus drawing was sold at a Palm Springs supermarket.
The Press Enterprise reports even though the winning ticket missed the Mega number, it’s still worth $43,183.
The California Lottery announced that there weren’t any tickets matching all six numbers sold, and the jackpot for Saturday’s drawing is now estimated to grow to $43 million.
The estimated jackpot for Wednesday’s drawing was $42 million. The winning numbers drawn were 7, 8, 20, 23, 36 with the Mega number being 6.
If you’re curious, according to the California Lottery, the odds of actually matching all five numbers and the Mega number is 1 in 41,416,353.
