A shooting Wednesday morning involving San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies outside the Hesperia Walmart has left one person dead and one injured.
According to CBS Los Angeles, the San Bernardino sheriff’s department confirmed that the shooting was first reported just before 8:20 a.m. at the Walmart in the 13400 block of Main Street, Hesperia.
The San Bernardino County Fire Department reported on Twitter that medical choppers were requested for the two injured patients.
There weren’t any deputies injured in the incident, and the exact circumstances of incident weren’t immediately known.
All of this comes after another deputy involved shooting that happened Tuesday night in the 25000 block of Flathead Road in Apple Valley.
In that shooting, deputies were searching for a suspect, 41 year-old Dearld Edward Wicker, who was being sought in connection with a shooting that had happened Monday in a Target parking lot.
The San Bernardino sheriff’s department reports that after deputies came in contact with Wicker, who was armed with a handgun, a shooting occurred and the suspect was struck by gunfire.
