Shooting Targeting Motorcyclists In Riverside Kills One Person

According to police, a passenger in a car began shooting at a group of motorcyclists Sunday night outside a Riverside gas station, killing one man.

The Press Enterprise reports that Officer Ryan Railsback, a spokesman for the Riverside Police Department said the motorcyclists were riding through Riverside and exited the 91 freeway at Adams Street, where they stopped at a gas station in the 3500 block.

Officer Railsback detailed the incident, “While there, a car pulled up, passenger got out and fired gunshots at the group.”

It was stated in the news release that at about 10:30 p.m., a gas station attendant called police while the shooting was happening.

A man, whose name wasn’t released, was transported to the hospital with a gunshot wound and later died.
