This week’s accomplishment: Kiecolt and Rojas teamed up to win all six of their sets, helping the Bulldogs advance to the quarterfinals of the CIF-Southern Section Division 4 playoffs. On Wednesday they swept 6-4, 6-0, 6-1 against Highland. On Friday, they won 7-6 (6), 6-1, 6-1 against Hemet.
What do you like most about your sport: I like that even though it’s a team sport, you still play your matches individually.
How long have you been playing your sport and how did you get started: I took a couple lessons when I was in second grade, but I didn’t really start playing until my sophomore year.
Pregame ritual: I don’t actually have one.
Most memorable sports moment: Winning the Scorpion Invitational my junior year.
If you could be someone else for a day, who would it be and why: I would be Roger Federer because he is the greatest tennis player of all time.
Something most people don’t know about you: I’m a quarter Korean and a quarter Argentinean.
How would you spend $1 million: I would buy my parents a super nice house and pay for my college.
Where would you go if you could travel anywhere in the world: Argentina.
If you had an extra hour every day, how would you spend it: I would spend it sleeping.
What superpower do you wish you had: The power to read minds.
