Report: Warriors coach Steve Kerr ‘very unlikely’ to return during Jazz series




The Golden State Warriors have been cruising so far in the 2017 NBA Playoffs, moving to 6-0 in the postseason with their win Thursday night over the Utah Jazz in their second-round series. They’ve won five of those games by double-digits, and have the best defensive rating of any playoff team, giving up just 97.8 points per 100 possessions.

Unfortunately they’ve been doing most of this without their beloved head coach, Steve Kerr, who has been out since Game 3 against the Trail Blazers as he tries to recover from back pain resulting from back surgery in 2015.

At the time, Kerr said he would not return until he could return for good.
