This week’s accomplishment: Wilson won the Lynn McClung Invitational with a 72 at Crystalaire Country Club on Monday. He shot a 37 at Spring Valley Lake Country Club to win Tuesday’s match against Serrano, then fired a 35 at China Lake Golf Course to win Thursday’s match against Burroughs.
What do you like most about your sport: I like how you never need to depend on anybody else. You can choose whether or not you win or lose.
How long have you been playing your sport and how did you get started: I have been playing for 10 years now. I got started because my dad would always go out and play golf and when I got old enough he taught me how to play.
Most memorable sports moment: Beating Burroughs’ Devon Bling. That was one of my ultimate goals this season.
If you could be someone else for a day, who would it be and why: I would want to be Kobe Bryant because he is my all time favorite basketball player.
Something most people don’t know about you: Most people actually don’t even know that I play golf.
How would you spend $1 million: I would give it to my mom, dad and coaches because they have helped me get this far.
Where would you go if you could travel anywhere in the world: I would probably go to Hawaii.
If you had an extra hour every day, how would you spend it: Either sleeping or practicing.
What superpower do you wish you had: Super speed
