This week’s accomplishment: Acosta shot an even-par 33 to win the 11th Cross Valley League match then shot a two-over 34 the next day to wrap up the league’s scoring average title for the season.
What do you like most about your sport: That it’s not a team sport. You rely on just yourself and the pressure it puts on.
How long have you been playing your sport and how did you get started: I started when I was 3 but didn’t really take it seriously until I quit baseball when I was 12. What got me started was my dad and watching the Golf Channel.
Pregame ritual: I don’t really have one. I just get my mind off the serious stuff and have fun.
Most memorable sports moment: When I qualified for a tournament in Florida.
If you could be someone else for a day, who would it be and why: Rickie Fowler because he’s outgoing and just loves to have fun.
Something most people don’t know about you: That I have traveled to Sweden.
How would you spend $1 million: I would put half in the bank and spend the other half on my family and give some to the homeless or charity.
Where would you go if you could travel anywhere in the world: New York City
If you had an extra hour every day, how would you spend it: Practicing golf
