They’ll be kicking off their “Farewell Tour” in May, but Aerosmith might not be saying goodbye just yet.
With the tour set to make its way across Europe, Joe Perry apparently says the band deliberately put US tour dates on ice so they could return to the studio in the near future.
According to Team Rock, Perry said, “We want to get in and give ourselves some time to get something done. We definitely have another record in us, if not two. But we’ll see how that goes.”
Perry said that after talking to Steven Tyler, their next albums could be a little more cohesive than their 2012 record Music From Another Dimension.
“The main thing is just getting in a room and starting to lay stuff down,” Perry added.
Aerosmith have so far announced 17 lives dates for later this year.
