Rialto police are looking for women who may have been targeted by a man taking upskirt videos at malls and stores around the Inland Empire.
According to CBS Los Angeles, during an investigation detectives found the suspect, Mark Anthony Duchane, to have 41 upskirt videos on his cellphone.
Police indicate videos were taken at malls and stores including a Walmart in Rialto, Ontario Mills mall and Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga. One of the videos was taken in Orange County, police said.
“It’s frightening,” one victim who wishes to remain anonymous said. “You just don’t feel safe anywhere.”
Police say the suspect who was on parole at the time and would allegedly engage victims in conversations and try to record their faces.
Duchane remains in jail on charges of invasion of privacy.
