Firefighter’s Helmet Camera Shows Victorville House Fire Blaze Up Close

By Anthony Donatelli

Body cams have quickly become associated with police officers, but they aren’t the only ones wearing cameras these days.

The San Bernardino County Fire Department showed us what fighting a raging inferno looks like from a firefighter’s point of view after responding to a call at a home in Victorville on Tuesday (2/21) morning.

The video is certainly intense and gives us a glimpse of how dangerously close these firefighters get to the blaze.

According to CBS LA, the fire was under control within 15 minutes and no injuries to civilians or firefighters were reported, but several pets were found dead.

Authorities say the fire is suspected to be arson. Anyone with information about the fire can contact Investigator Mike Ward at (760) 995-8190.
