  • Victor Valley Global Medical Center is assembling a team to walk in the 2017 Orange County Heart & Stroke Walk & 5k Run The event is at Anaheim Stadium 2000 E. Gene Autry Way, Anaheim on March 4, 2017. 5K Run starts at 7:30am and walkers start at 9:00am.   • Now until the middle of March…Seeking Sponsors for Community Clean up-City of Victorville is seeking sponsors for the April 8th community cleanup project. The International Footprint Association are holding a pancake breakfast and law enforcement event. Awards will be handed out, a car show, a life stream blood drive, patrol cars, fire trucks, ambulances and other static displays will be on hand. Cost to attend is $6.00 per person. Distinguished Service Awards Celebration and 2nd Annual Lip Sync Competition -community event honors local heroes for their good work in our community and helps the Victor Valley College Foundation give opportunities to people with dreams. Proceeds from sponsorship’s and ticket sales allow the foundation to provide scholarships to deserving students who cannot otherwise afford college and other student experiences.
