UFC president Dana White has been quite busy the past few days. There have been reports of a company selling shares and Conor McGregor wanting to fight Floyd Mayweather (maybe?).
Now, White sounds less optimistic that one of his true superstars, Ronda Rousey, is going to fight in 2016. During his appearance on The Dan Patrick show on Wednesday, White was asked directly if Rousey would be held out of action this year.
“I hope that’s not the case. I would really like her to fight this year. I hope she does,” White said. “That’s up to Ronda. Ronda’s going to come out and let us know when she’s ready to fight again.”
